Faecal septic clots reek
A general attraction to the oblique

Stripping this cadaver
Scavenge the remains and never
Leave the dead alone
Until they are stripped to the bone
A muttered sound from the bowels
As intestines are removed
Nerve tissue is severed
Muscle and skin is scattered
Inappropriate necropsy
A lack of medical purpose
Such behaviour is unbefitting
An honoured pathologist
Overwhelming result
All but bone removed
Some pieces are retained
To be rejoined in the lab
